Ik, Ezel is a short film about a boy trying to find love and purpose after the tragic death of his father. The film was made in over one and a half year, in close collaboration with director Evy Vinck. To enrich the story's raw, dark sense of humor and to stay true to it's 90's setting, we worked according to the following dogma's: Everything should be recorded on Mini-DV or Hi8 tapes, Everything is shot by hand, No artificial lighting and no complicated retouching.
